Job Description

Hand Rock Studio is seeking a passionate developer to join our team.

You will be working from our office in Żejtun.

As part of our dynamic team, you will be working on new and existing games.

You will also be helping with porting and maintaining our games on a variety of platforms, including iOS, Android, Windows, macOS and game consoles.

Key skills are

• Very strong knowledge of the C programming language
• Good knowledge of C++, C# and Java
• Experience with iOS and Android development
• Experience with Visual Studio, Win32 game development and APIs

Other desirable skills include

• Experience with macOS development
• Experience with console development (PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch)
• Experience with network programming (for example UDP)
• Familiarity with Steamworks APIs
• Good knowledge of 3D maths and geometry
• Any language in addition to English, especially Japanese
• Knowledge of assembly programming (for example 68000) for porting on retro systems
